Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana - Lafayette

Ivy Tech Community College‘s Community Activity Committee (CAC) is a direct result of stated goals and objectives in an effort to develop and implement strategies to better serve a growing and diverse Latino/Hispanic population.

In April of 2007, the CAC organized and hosted the first Tippecanoe Latino Festival. Festival goers were registered to vote, educated on mortgages, and informed about other non-profit/community agencies in Tippecanoe County.

Ivy Tech’s Community Activity Committee continues to address the needs of the traditional and non-traditional Latino/Hispanic student learner. The establishment of public and private partnership enables Ivy Tech to adapt to new challenges facing our students and the workforce of tomorrow.

Please join Ivy Tech Community College and the Community Activity Committee as we continue to work toward meeting the needs of a diverse and ever changing population.
