The Tippecanoe Latino Festival is a unique family enriched, cultural, and educational event.
The festival provides a unique opportunity to educate the population on the benefits of living in Lafayette and shared aspects of the Hispanic and Latino culture. The 2008 Tippecanoe Latino Festival will be bigger and better.
This year’s event boasts a 5% increase in participation
among community agencies, the addition of vendors,
invitations to the scholarship and grant presentation
brunch, voter registration, educational
information and presentations (i.e. mortgages,
banking, insurance, health care and etc.),
demonstrations from Ivy Tech’s School
of Technology, and live entertainment.
The festival is hosted and organized by Ivy Tech
Community College’s Community Action Committee.

Since 1999, the LCTC has served Tippecanoe County’s Latino population with many cultural and educational events and services. The LCTC exists to improve the quality of life by helping, advocating, uniting, and educating Latinos in Tippecanoe County.
