of microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics,
comparative economic systems, historical development of economic
thought, and their application to current economic problems. An
introductory course intended primarily for students who need only
one semester of economics. 3 lecture hours. |

Principles of
Macroeconomics -- Prerequisites: ENG 111, MAT 111 or
MAT 112. A descriptive and analytical study of fundamental
concepts of national economics. It includes an analysis of the
determination and fluctuations in national income and employment,
monetary and fiscal policy, and international trade and finance.
Economic analysis of monetary and fiscal policies is stressed. 3
lecture hours. |
