By now you’ve probably heard all the reasons why you
should go to college: to get a good job, earn more money, develop a
first rate career, prepare for a family, contribute to your
community - let’s face it - all the reasons are good ones. We
at Ivy Tech also want you to know that you don’t have to
spend four years away from home on a huge campus to reap all the
rewards of a college education.
As a matter of fact, you could be working in a career you love
in as little as nine months after your high school graduation. But
time is not our biggest concern at Ivy Tech - your education is.
You can earn a technical certificate in 9 to 16 months, an
associate degree in 24-28 months, or be ready to transfer to a
selected four-year college.
The links listed, to the left, can provide you with plenty of
information about our mission, goals, philosophy, and history, as
well as information for our new and current students.
